What's inside

Six areas, compared honestly.

Most relocation advice tells you Sarasota is sunny. This tells you what a house actually costs in Venice versus Siesta Key, which way each market is moving right now, and how long you'll really sit in traffic getting downtown.

Who's behind it

I made this move myself.

Back in 2010, my family and I made the life-changing decision to call Sarasota home. We packed up everything, left behind familiar places, and took a chance on sunshine, beaches, and a community we'd only visited.

It turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made.

There wasn't much practical, firsthand information about what living in Sarasota actually felt like. So I wrote it.

Since then I've explored every corner of this area — the cultural hubs downtown, the quiet stretches of sand south of the bridges, the neighborhoods where the schools genuinely are that good. You're not just buying a house here. You're choosing where your life happens.

How it works

From first call to front door.

Relocating from out of state has a shape to it. Here's the one I'll walk you through.

Most of my clients are two hundred miles away when we start. None of this requires you to be here until the part that should be.

1

A 30-minute conversation

We talk through what you're looking for, what your budget really buys here, and which neighborhoods fit how you actually live.

2

Get your financing straight

I'll introduce you to a local lender who handles Florida relocations daily — including the property tax and insurance questions that surprise people.

3

Search from wherever you are

You get a private search portal with live MLS listings matched to your criteria, so you're seeing homes the day they hit — not a week later on a public site.

4

Come see it in person

Set aside a few days and I'll build the itinerary — homes, neighborhoods, schools, the grocery store you'd actually use. The trip that decides it.

5

Make the offer

When you find it, I'll help you write something competitive and negotiate it properly.

6

Close, and get the keys

Inspections, appraisal, title, walkthrough. I'll handle the moving parts so you can focus on the move itself.
